With the development of society and the nursing business, high health need is being expected. The phenomenon that an increasing number of men in nursing has aroused the universal concern of the community. A lot of research work about mental health, the intention of resignation,role stress and job burnout of the male nurse have been carried out in recent years, but many are still at their preliminary stages, and studies of many issues need to be urgently deepened.On the basis of internal and foreign research, this study adopted the in-depth interview to5male nursing students and5male nurses and the semi-structured programming method is used to collect data. With RSS, MBI, SCL-90,SWLS and self-designed questionnaire of intention to quit, about150male nurses from8hospitals in Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Henan and Zhejiang were investigated and studied, then,the data were analyzed by statistical treatment with SPSS16.0, considered the demographic factors, used the Statistical methods of descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, regression analysis, variance analysis, the study obtained conclusions as follows:First, in general,there have appeared the role stress ambiguity of high degree and the job burnout of high degree in Depersonalization while the degree of life satisfaction level were lower than normal.Besides, anxious and intention to quit are universal existence in male nurses.Second, that male nurses with different posts showed significant difference in role ambiguity and work type in diminished personal accomplishment. The extent of life satisfaction of male nurses was significantly related with their monthly income, marriage,and professional title. There were significant differences among professional title, nursing length and the affection for work on intention to quit.Third, there had significant correlations among role stress, job burnout,mental health and the life satisfaction.Fourth, role stress significantly affects the Burnout, mental health and life satisfaction, and the Burnout affect the mental health but has no influence on life satisfaction.Lastly, job burnout was the mediator between role stress and the mental health.
