Objective:To verify the effectiveness of ZFXN oral preparation in the treatment of hemorrhagic transformation and optimize the treatment of HT, by comparing with the control group that based on the main treatment.Methods:100cases of HT were divided into the experimental group and the control group according to the order of their admissions(1:1) from three hospitals (Teaching Hospital of Chengdu University of T.C.M, Panzhihua City Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western, Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College)in March2009to December2011. The experimental group cases (program group) were accepted both the basic treatment and ZFXN preparation, while the control group cases were just received the basic treatment. And then analyse the effectiveness of hemorrhagic transformation using ZFXN preparation by observing the mortality rate, the change of the TCM syndrome scores, Barthel Index, NIHSS, and mRS scores after treatment.Results:(1)The mortality rate:There is no statistically significant difference (P>0.05) between the experimental group and the control group in the mortality rate of Hemorrhagic transformation at the21th day after treatment.(2)The TCM syndrome scores:for the cases which Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS)were more than8points, the experimental group of HT is better than the control group in The TCM syndrome scores at the7th and21th day after treatment, and there is significant differences(P<0.05).(3)The experimental group of HT have better than the control group with NIHSS, mRS and Barthel Index at the7th,21th and90th day after treatment, and there is significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1) The ZFXN oral preparation can’t reduce the mortality rate of HT.(2) The ZFXN oral preparation can improve the TCM syndrome scores of HT at the7th and21th day after treatment.(3)The ZFXN oral preparation can improve neurological deficit (NIHSS scores) and degree of disability (mRS scores and Barthel Index) of the HT, and there is statistically significance(P<0.05) compare with the control group.
