Yiqi T2dm Party Treatment Clinical Observation Of Early Diabetic Nephropathy Debility Blood Stasis Syndrome

Diabecic Nephropathy (DN), also known as Diabetic glomerulosclerosis. is one of the most typical microvascular complications of diabetes. Early clinical manifestation is micro-albuminuria, which can still possibly be reversed through correct treatment. It manifests in symptoms like albuminuria, edema, etc., and eventually leads to end stage renal failure. In recent years the morbidity of diabetes mellitus has been going up and caused an increase in the incidence of diabetic nephropathy. According to the statistics, DN has been the first cause in end stage renal disease so it is especially important to look for effective means of early in-tervention. Traditional Chinese medicine has certain advantages in the field of the prevention and treatment of diabetic nephropathy in clinical practice.Yiqi Tongluo Decoction is based on the experience of Prof. Wang Yongyan in treating the syndrome of Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis, which is made mainly of Radix Hedysari, Radix Notoginseng, Alisma orientale and so on. This research evaluates a overall effect and the safety under the intervention treatments for early DN with Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome to make a evaluation of Yiqi Tongluo Decoction’clinical effects for treating the early DN. The research used the randomized controlled trial Based on the maintenance of medical basic treatments, the control group take150mg qd of Irbesartan. while the experi-mental group take200ml tid of Yigi Tongluo Decoction under the same conditions of diet control, reducing blood sugar and blood pressure and lipid modification, etc. The trial includ-ed40early DN patients with Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome,2patients withdrew. The rate of experimental group and control group is3:1and the patients were observed for12weeks. Observation items are TCM syndrome score,24h UAER, FBG, HbA1c Renal function, Liver function, Lipids indexes. The statistical analysis is mainly performed by using SPSS19.0to do T-test, X-test, rank-sum test, variance analysis, etc. to compare with the ef-fects of before and after treatment and between the groups. The results show that patients’ TCM syndrome score were significant decreased after taking Yiqi Tongluo Decoction. The longer patients take Yiqi Tongluo Decoction, the lower their TCM syndrome score become. Total effective rate of symptom improvement in experimental group is up to100%after12-week treatment, which is clearly better than in control group. The UARE decreased among both groups with the effective rate reaches75%in treatment group and70%in control group. Although total effective rates from both groups are about the same.The study shows Yiqi Tongluo Decoction can effectively improve the symptoms of early DN patient with Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome and reduce the UARE to con- trol the progress of DN so that it can be an option of Chinese medicine intervention treatment for earlv DN.
