IntroductionParkinson disease is a common neurodegenerative disease among middle-aged and elderly.Its four main symptoms contain static tremor,bradykinesia,rigidity and abnormal gait and posture. At the same time with such as mental disorders, cognitive disorders,sleep disorders,constipation,frequent urination,depression,anxiety and other non-motor symptoms.Modern medicine deems the pathological feature is the degeneration and missing of substantia nigra and corpus striatum dopaminergic neurons.Make The dopamine-acetylcholine Out of balance.So that the functional of acetylcholine is comparatively hyperthyroid that cause symptoms,such as increased muscle tension and less exercise.With the development of population aging, the incidence increases year by year, which has become one of the most important causes of disability.while increasing the quality of human life and social economic burden and impact.Now drugs is the basic method of treatment.however, these drugs could not control the development of the disease and have the disadvantage of side-effect and decreased efficacy.Chinese medicine treatment have a very significant effect on Parkinson disease.to avoid the side effects of western medicine.The seven acupuncture points in the research is optimally formed by Director CHEN Feng on the basis of long-term clinical experience. This subject carries out the before-after study, in order to objectively evaluate its clinical efficacy.ObjectiveObserve the recent clinical efficacy and safety of treating Parkinson’s Disease by Yamen(Du15) and Fengchi(GB20), Tianzhu(UB10), Wangu(GB12)MethodsThis study extracted40patients in acupuncture department of Wangjing hospital and used UPDRS between treatment to research.Acupuncture points of Yamen(Du15) and Fengchi(GB20), Tianzhu(UB10), Wangu(GB12) using No.322-inch acupuncture needle. After the operation, the needles on the acupuncture points stayed for30minutes. Carry out the acupuncture every3times one week. Regard6times as a treatment course and4courses as an observed period. Do the UPDRS for the patients pre-treatment and every two weeks.The data were analyzed by statistics through SPSS19.0.ResultsThe UPDRS total score and each individual score were significantly decreased after treatment, the statistical test was showed that, there were differences between the UPDRS total scores before and after treatment (P<0.05), which indicated that the overall quality of life of the patients with Parkinson can be improved by treatment. And it also shows that all conditions of the patients with Parkinson’s disease can be improved by acupuncture treatment(P<0.05).The acupuncture treatment has the following characteristics in efficacy:the patients with mild or medium disease conditions can get better efficacy than the patients with severe disease conditions; the efficacy on patients with less than5years of course of disease would be better;age and gender differences have no impact on the efficacy.ConclusionThe treatment of Parkinson’s disease by acupuncture is beneficial to improve the living qualities of patients.It have a positive effect on both Motor symptoms and non-motor symptoms.The recent clinical efficacy of the seven acupuncture points for Parkinson disease Correlated with The severity, course of disease, age etc.The patients with mild or medium disease conditions can get better efficacy than the patients with severe disease conditions; the efficacy on patients with less than5years of course of disease would be better;age and gender differences have no impact on the efficacy.The treatment of Parkinson’s disease by acupuncture shows good security.
