| Parkinson’s disease is a kind of Extrapyramidal degeneration disease that happens in the elderly, and it is belong to Chanzheng category in according Traditional Chinese Medicine. Since the discovery of PD, the study on it at home and abroad has a history of nearly 200 years. The substantia nigra and striatum pathway is the main pathological changes anatomy position. Its main clinical symptoms are resting tremor, rigidity, bradykinesia and postural and gait abnormalities, at the same time, associated with cognitive disorder, insomnia, constipation, and even mental disorders. So far the causes of Parkinson’s disease have not yet been studied clearly. Most scholars think that interaction of environmental and genetic factors is the cause of in the pathogenesis of PD.At present, there are mainly two kinds treatment systems for Parkinson’s disease, they are with traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine. The western medicine treatment is mainly by the drugs as levodopa and dopamine receptor agonists, but the drugs fail to control disease progress, only can alleviate the symptoms. After taking several years, the efficacy of the drugs is declining and their side effects such as fluctuating symptoms appear. The medication targeting single symptom may worsen or even induce any of the non motor symptoms. A certain effect has been made with traditional Chinese medicine including acupuncture and decoction. But at present, the clinical research of TCM on PD is the deficiency of scientific and practical standardization, the understanding on syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine to PD has been not unified. The various means and different standards, all affect the promotion of Chinese medicine treatment of this disease.In the paper, the Seven Acupoints of the Cranial Base is Acupoint combination that had been creatively put forward by professor Chenfeng based on the theory of Treatment according differentiation of disease and his rich clinical experience. The treatment based on the Seven Acupoints of the Cranial Base is suitable for the majority of patients with Parkinson’s disease, in actual, the clinical curative effect is remarkable, and is easy to promote. This research used the experimental design method of stochastic control with the unified Parkinson’s disease Rating Scale (UPDRS). The clinical curative effect of the Madopar group and the acupuncture group was observed comparatively and respectively.Research purpose:The clinical curative effect of the treatment with acupuncture on the Seven Acupoints of the Cranial Base was observed and studied with the experimental design method of stochastic control.Research Method:The 40 cases of patients with Parkinson’s disease that meet the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into treatment group with 20 cases and control group with 20 cases, and before treatment the patients were selected according to uniform grading standard with UPDRS score. The bilateral Fengchi, Wangu, Tianzhu, and Yamen seven acupoints of the patients in the treatment group were selected with anatomical location. During operation, let patients take sitting, use 32nd with 2 inch needle, inserting needle to Wanggu acupoint 1 inches and the needle tip to tip of nose; inserting needle to Fengchi 1.2 inch and the needle tip to offside eye; inserting needle to Tianzhu 1 inch vertically.The twirling manipulation was adopted for the acupoints with even reinforcing-reducing method, 120 times/min, twist 2 minutes. The needle should be inserted into Yamen acupoint vertically, the needle tip slightly downward and the needle was inserted 9 times within the 1.5-1 inch range, at the same time, the patient cannot move his head pre or post prone.When the needle was inserted into Yamen acupoit, the operation must be strictly and forbid piercing into the dura mater. The time of the retaining needle is more than 30 minutes each time,3 to 4 times a week. The initial dose of Madopa in the control group with oral administration is 62.5～125.0 mg,2～3 times a day. The appropriate dose of satisfactory curative effect and no side effects that was increased according to the patient’s condition was used for maintenance treatment, taking the medicine 1h before meals or 1.5h after meal. After 3 months of treatment, then the patients of two groups were scored respectively with the unified Parkinson’s disease rating scale, the differences of effects and changes between the two groups were observed, and the data of before and after treatment of the two groups was analyzed by statistics with SPSS19.0.Research Results:The total score of the experimental group and the control group with the unified Parkinson’s disease Rating Scale decreased significantly after treatment (P<0.05). It showed that the medication of Madopar and acupuncture of the Seven Acupoints of the Cranial Base treatment of Parkinson’s disease are effective.There was no significant difference (P>0.05) between the experimental group and control group. It illustrates that medication of Madopar and acupuncture of the Seven Acupoints of the Cranial Base in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease has no obvious difference and their efficacy is similar.The scale of each category were analyzed statistically, there were all significant differences (P<0.05), that of acupuncture of the Seven Acupoints of the Cranial Base on Parkinson disease patients with mental, behavioral and emotional, daily life ability, motor examination, complications from many aspects have the curative effect. The acupuncture of the Seven Acupoints of the Cranial Base can improve symptoms, the quality of life, especially on the two examination index as the ability of daily life and sport it showed remarkable curative effect.Conclusion:The Seven Acupoints of the Cranial Base acupoints of acupuncture treatment of Parkinson’s disease have a practical effect, and can relieve the symptoms of patients with Parkinson disease from many aspects, and improve their quality of life. The treatment with Acupuncture of the Seven Acupoints of the Cranial Base of Parkinson’s disease has a good safety. In order to treatment the Parkinson’s disease, it provides a safety and curative effect treating method based on the traditional Chinese medicine.
