Pu Songling Poetry Study

This paper, for the study of Pu Songling poetry, just refers to the study for the poetry in his 《Liaozhai Poems》.At present, for Pu Songling’s works, the academia mainly research his 《Liaozhai Zhiyi》,and his folk ballads also gradually become a research hotspot in recent years, but his more than a thousand poems have little attention.In order to have more full-scale and in-depth research for Pu Songling’s poems, the paper will be cut from the following aspects. First of all, study the content and the artistic characteristics of his poems. The content of his poems will be divided into the landscape poems, the allegorical poems, the nostalgic poems, the intone poems, the poems presented to friends, boudoir resentment poems and the mourning poems, and the content emphases of Pu Songling’s poems are landscape, allegory, intone and presentation, so these types of poems also are the focus of my research and analysis; The artistic characteristics of Pu Songling’s poems comes along with his life experiences and the change of his mentality, so its stage characteristics is very obvious, so it will be divided into three stages (the youth, the middle age and the old age) to analyze and explore. Secondly, read the poet image among Pu Songling’s poems. I will all-round read Pu Songling from the following aspects:down and out of the imperial examination, local celebrities, the farmers’feelings and piety and kindness, which shows us a vivid and real Pu Songling with a fullness of character. Finally, I will consider the inheritance and innovation of Pu Songling’s poems from the point of view of the relationship between his poems and poems in various dynasties, and then locate and evaluate his poems’status and influence among the Qing poetry.Pu Songling read poetry and literature intensively, the poetry Creation also accompanies with his Lifetime, and his poems at present in the academic influence is not as 《Liaozhai Zhiyi》, but that is also because his poems is covered by such a monumental work. Pu Songling, as a literary and artistic genius, puts into his lifetime to create the poetry, although we do not to say that his poems can be comparable to 《Liaozhai Zhiyi》 and achieves the same art peak like it, but his poems also have the higher art value and our younger generation learners need deeply research.
