Comparative Study Of Different Regional Culture Characteristics Of Openness And Compatibility

Openness and compatibility, which are the main features of Chinese culture,is the tradition of excellence in China. As sub-culture of Chinese regional culture,the Bashu Culture and the Lingnan culture has made important contributions toChinese civilization. The Bashu culture and the Lingnan culture both have the twofeatures of openness and compatibility, which is the common of the two regionalculture. Due to the geographical environment, historical roots, and a variety ofreasons, the openness and compatibility of regional culture has differentexpression, especially for ethos and cultural characteristics of the Bashu cultureand Lingnan culture in modern times. This paper takes comparability as the mainapproach and has done a lot of comparative study of different geographical andcultural openness and compatibility, taking the modern Bashu and Lingnanregional culture as example. First, this paper describes a concrete manifestationof openness and compatibility characteristics, which are mainly reflected in theexchange and integration with other regional culture and foreign culture.Second, this paper takes a comparative study of the commonality and differencesof modern Bashu and Lingnan culture and analysis the reasons of the commoncharacteristics of openness and compatibility characteristics. Finally, it gives theanalysis of reasons for the differences in the openness and compatibility.As use of comparative approach to study the different geographical andcultural openness and compatibility characteristics, this article can be consideredas small development. Through comparative study, we can have deepunderstanding of the law of development of different geographical and culturalcommonalities, and differences between different cultures. Also, it can minedeep-seated cultural charm and values, which contributes the construction of thecultural and tourism resources development. Meanwhile，to find the reasons ofslow development and the formation of the different characteristics, is not onlyconducive to the mutual recognition of the gap between cultures，and to changebackwardness factors, but also is a greater degree of enhance self-confident andconscious of the two cultures. Especially for today of cultural prosperity, thecomparative study of openness and compatibility features of differentgeographical and cultural can help to further promote cultural exchanges andcultural innovation, widen range of absorbing the outstanding achievements ofChinese and foreign cultures, expand cultural exchanges with foreign channels tothe world.
