The opera "Sister Jiang", written in the 1960s, is based on the documentary fiction“TheRed Rock”created by the collaboration of Guangbin Luo and Yiyan Yang. Yan Su fromAir force political ensemble was the screenwriter of this opera, and Yang Ming,Chunyang Jiang and Jin Sha all participated in total seven parts of this opera whichcomed from a true story of a Chinese Communist underground Party members——Xueqin Jiang. The opera "Sister Jiang", performed in public in 1964, caused tremendousecho and was a new upsurge in the Chinese history of opera. Domestic scholars’studieson“Sister Jiang”were rich but messy. On the basis of inheriting and developing theseexcellent researches, music images of Sister Jiang and arias were analyzed deeply fromvarious aesthetic ideas in this paper.
