As TCFL (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language), it was one of the difficulties for foreign students in learning Chinese. With the development of TCFL, the predecessor has achieved a certain development in Chinese analysis and research. Compare to the pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, the research of wrongly written or mispronounced characters is much less. Of the students from Chinese-character-non-used countries(Thailand intermediate students), they learn Chinese characters borrowed rules from the mother tongue of less than students of the Chinese cultural circle, Chinese characters is often the greatest difficulties of learning Chinese, the level of mastering Chinese characters is directly affects the level of learning Chinese.This paper has collected the questionnaire survey of 81 intermediate Thai students in Southwestern University and 12 Thai operations of the local teachers to identify them to learn Chinese character process typo, other words, statistical induction and analysis of research, according to typo radicals, Stroke, structure, do word mix, etc. in a targeted manner suitable for intermediate students in Thailand to learn the characters teaching suggestions, and guide students to learn effectively use these recommendations. This article begins with an overview of the Chinese as a Foreign learning and the mastering of Chinese characters of intermediate students of the Thai students. In this paper it has a questionnaire survey which investigates the feeling of learning Chinese characters, the problems they encountered and the recommendations of the teacher in teaching. The object of statistics are Thai undergraduate students in Southwest University and some local teachers in Thailand who belong to Chinese intermediate level; and through the collection of Thailand’s Intermediate students papers, essay writing, dictation, job, etc., we identify the typos, and classify to the two classes which are typo and word, then we listed a statistical tables.A specific analysis classified typos and the emergence reasons. In Typo aspects, we classified from the radical parts, strokes and the frame structure.In word,it classified as sound homonym words and Glyph similar word, the paper analyze the reasons for this situation then give some targeted teaching suggestions. For example, in the typo, we need to teach the sub-radical components, Stroke, the frame structure, In word, we need to teach in multispectral and carefully comparison. In addition to, some other teaching suggestions can learn from.
