The Taxi Industry In Shenyang Language Service Present Situation Investigation And Study

This paper surveys the taxi jargon usage in Shenyang from the languageselection, bad parole and politeness and other aspects. A survey was conductedthrough literature review, questionnaires, interviews to get the existing researchresults, the survey data and the respondents’feedback, from which we can see thesituation of the taxi jargon usage in Shenyang.The survey was divided into three parts. The first part determined the survey andthe perspective through the literature review and the interviews to develop thequestionnaire. The surveys were distributed 171 questionnaires, including 168efficiency questionnaires, efficiency 12%.The second part were mainly through thequestionnaire to understanding the situation of the taxi jargon usage in deep. The thirdpart would carry out further investigation from the problems which was found.In this paper, three perspectives on the taxi jargon usage were used forinvestigation. The first part was the situation of the taxi jargon usage, in which thelanguage selection, the bad parole and the politeness were included. The surveyresults show that the taxi jargon usage in Shenyang exits the need of mandarin, thelower frequency of usage of politeness, and there are also some taxi drivers who usethe bad parole.The second part surveyed the attitude of the passengers starting from the threeperspectives above. The survey results show that the passengers on the attitude of taxidrivers’language selection diversified tendency the mandarin and the Shenyangwords. At the same time, the attitude of the bad parole is mostly negative, and thepoliteness is needed by the vast majority of passengers.The third part is the factors of the language situation. In fact, the language itself,the quality of practitioners, related to supervision, training are combined to effects thedevelopment of the taxi jargon usage. Through the analysis of the survey in the threeaspects, this paper further summarizes and puts forward some improved methods, inorder to further standardize the taxi jargon usage.
