In recent years,the field of TCFL has paid more and more attention to the compilation of textbooks for overseas Chinese learners.At present,studies on cultural factors in TCSL textbooks are mainly focused on asian countries or English-speaking countries,while there are few studies on Hungarian as mother tongue.In terms of the age and level of learners,the majority of learners are college students or adults with intermediate and advanced Chinese proficiency,while there are few studies on learners of zero-based of primary school students.Besides,the TCFL has not issued the outline related to the arrangement mode of cultural factors in the textbooks,and there is no specific standard for what kind of cultural factors should be presented in what order and what form,which also provides ideas for the discussion of this paper.In view of this situation,the author selects the YCT standard course(volume 1-6)as the research object which are used during the volunteer time overseas.Based on the classification criteria of cultural factors proposed by scholars such as Mr.Zhang Zhanyi,Mr.Chen Guanglei,Mr.Liu Xun,Lu Wei,Yang Defeng,and Cheng Yuzhen etc.On the one hand,with the data statistical method,the knowledge-type cultural factors and communicative-type cultural factors in the YCT standard course(volume1-6)are sorted in a carpet manner to explore the characteristics of the selection,presentation,quantity distribution,and category ratio of cultural factors.On the other hand,by combing the style of the textbooks,and with the help of pictures and tables,it reflects the characteristics and shortcomings of cultural factors in the four links of vocabulary,texts,classroom activities and exercises,and quizzes after class.According to the statistical results,the selection and presentation of cultural factors in textbooks conform to the principles of "integrity","stage" and "practicality",but the selection and presentation of some cultural factors are limited and lack of diversity.Based on the analysis of the teaching materials,this paper investigates the users of the teaching materials,including teachers and students,in order to know the attitudes of different learners towards Chinese culture and their interests,needs,tendencies towards cultural factors.The paper also uses the method of personalinterview to conduct the interviews with Chinese teachers and volunteers who used the first and second volumes of the YCT standard course in the primary schools of the Confucius Institute at University of Szeged,in order to sort out and analyze the attitudes of teachers and users towards cultural factors in textbooks.Based on the analysis and statistical results in the second,third and fourth chapters above,the author puts forward suggestions on revising and improving the cultural factors in the selected textbooks.Firsly,we should pay attention to the scientificity of choreography proportion,the arrangement order,the selection of content and the presentation form of the cultural factors in textbooks,giving consideration to the diversity,nationality and synchronicity in the meantime.Secondly,in terms of the localization and adaptation of teaching materials,we should not only attach importance to the comparison between China and Hungary and interestingness,but also constantly improve the annotation and translation of cultural factors.Thirdly,the selection of cultural factors in children's teaching materials needs the establishment and distribution of the corresponding cultural syllabus in the field of TCFL,so that there are standards for the teaching and learning of cultural factors.Finally,the autor summarizes the point of view and pointing out the shortcomings of the paper,including putting forward to the prospects and expectations for the follow-up research.Due to the limitation of length,this paper presents all the cultural factors in textbooks 1-6 in a tabular form in the appendix.At the same time,the appendix also includes the Chinese-English version of the student questionnaire,the Hungarian-English version of the student questionnaire and the teacher interview outline for reference.To sum up,this paper makes an overall and in-depth study on the selection and compilation of cultural factors in YCT standard course(volume 1-6),hoping to contribute to the optimization and republication of the textbooks.
