The well-being of primary and secondary school teachers is not only about themselves but also about the student’s growth and development. In this study junior high school and primary school teacher, in Qingdao City, were as objects of study Seven teachers were taken semi-structured interview and302teachers were surveyed by questionnaires about teachers’well-being made by myself. The result are as follows.Firstly, well-being of junior high school and primary school teacher,in Qingdao City, takes on an ordinary level. The mean values of physical well-being, emotional well-being, mental and intellectual well-being and spiritual well-being lives in the middle level, and the score of physical well-being is the lowest, which means the state of teachers’ well-being is not optimistic.Secondly, the sex, seniority, qualification, title, school position, teaching experience, subject and grade have no significant different influence on teachers’well-being, but the age, colleague evaluation, income and time taking on the way to school produce an effect on teachers’well-being significantly. Teachers whose age are under25year-old have highest well-being, and teachers whose age are between31-40year-old have lowest well-being. The well-being of teachers evaluated as expert teacher and backbone teacher are relatively high. The teachers whose annual income ranges from50to60thousand Yuan taste the most happiness, while those whose annual income ranges from30-40thousand Yuan taste the least happiness. The less time that the teacher takes way to school, the more happiness that the teacher owns.Thirdly, the factors, including“students’praise and gratitude”,“students’good results” and“approved by colleague”, are of great use about enforcing teacher’s well-being. However, the factors, including “the difficult of teaching and managing student”,“low income”and “formalistic work”, make teachers feel unhappiness. Finally, at the end of the paper, there are suggestions about how to raise teachers’well-being offered by the dimension of physical well-being, emotional well-being, mental and intellectual well-being and spiritual well-being.
