Middle Neolithic Iraq, Luohe River Basin Archaeological Culture Observation

Based on Archaeological Typology and Stratigraphy, this paper presents and analyzes all the small sites in Yiluo river basin which had been reported in the briefings.With regional settlement morphology research method, this paper subdivides the Yiluo river basin into small geegraphic spaces relatively independent. It discusses the archaeological cultural stages and characteristics of the respective spaces and tries to draw more detailed cultural evolution process by observing the settlement patterns there.This study ranges from Peiligang to Yangshao culture, and the space includes Lushi、 Luanchuan、 Yanshi、Luoning、Yiyang、Yichuan、Luoyang and Dengfeng. After statistics of the number and classifying the location of sites,I drew several regional distribution maps about the sites of the Peiligang and Yangshao cultures.
