Throughout the history of painting, figure painting in the Ming dynasty general decliningtrend. But in figure painting emerged in the late Ming dynasty represented by Chenhongshou’s outstanding group of painters. Chen hongshou ’s, with its grotesque exaggerations,high Gucci style of horror, breaking the barriers of formalism, has opened up a portrait offresh air, towering in the late of Ming and Qing dynasty and the later painting. His uniquestyle of painting works, shape, emphasizing exaggerated distortion, image taken from thenature above nature, in figure painting in the Ming dynasty, with typical, an enlightening role.Variation in Ming and Qing dynasty under the influence of Chen hongshou’s figure paintingstyle, has enriched Chinese art painting, Chinese painting has had a huge impact, and animportant basis for the development of today’s figure painting in the Qing dynasty,On the roadof the development of Chinese figure painting, stand up a new milestone.Chen hongshou’swas in the late Ming and early Qing painting writers most representative figures,Art historyreview:“No such painting techniques within the300years of the Ming dynasty”. Chenhongshou’s are in dynastic succession in the age of turbulence, political corruption, State offlux, and the rapid economic development of goods, he was deeply affected by the artisticstyle of the late Ming political, economic, cultural and environmental factors that influence,and is closely related to his personal experience. His painting works with a strong personal,with expressionistic characteristics, at that time, and had a lot of impact on later generations,as of the late Qing dynasty, scholar of qianbaijia, directly or indirectly, by Chen Pai styleaffected three famous painters of more than50people. Not only at the time, disciples and theworld competing to imitate, figure painting style of Ming and Qing dynasties are subject tohis influence as a whole. The late Qing dynasty,“Three on the sea” is at the peak of paintingon the art of forming a new, greatly spread the style of Chen hongshou’s variation. Today, in anew style of Chen hongshou’s under the influence of social psychology and aesthetic tastes,creating a new style of art.Chen hongshou’s was in the late Ming and early Qing paintingwriters most representative figures. This article to the point of Chen hongshou ’s, politicaleconomy, Yangming and the analysis of the development of the aesthetics of the uglybackground of variation in style. From character modeling, mapping rules, and lines with aline combination study of variation of style of Chen hongshou’s figure painting. From analysisof the effect on many of Chen hongshou’s figure painters to painting during this period in the late Ming dynasty to the Qing dynasty variation of style of painting. I hope that by studyingthe variation of style of Chen hongshou’s figure painting in Ming and Qing dynasties couldhave a further understanding.
