Since the nineteen ninties, Chinese traditional painting has been trying to achieve modern transformation. During this period Chinese meticulous color painting has got great development, it gives full play to the advantages of color, not only realize its modern development,also influenced the creation of ink painting. Chinese meticulous color painting can play the advantage of color, the using and promotion of mineral pigments are important influence factors.This paper is a case study of Jiang Caiping. Including for the analysis of Chinese meticulous color painting’s historical circumstances,for the Introduction of art experience and creation of Jiang Caiping, for Jiang Caiping’research and promotion of mineral pigments and the influence of mineral pigments, and for Jiang Caiping’ teaching and influence.
