As the production of the human progress and social civilization, traditionalfestivals are taking an irreplaceable role in the world. Every country has its owntraditional festivals and national cultures. The festivals not only show us the longculture history and the zigzag national history, but also present the country’senchantment and the comprehensive national power. Traditional festivals are the symbolof the Chinese nation and the important channel for other countries to know about theculture of our country. Meanwhile, knowing abut other countries’ culture and diversitycan make active affect on the international communication, which have great influence.This article firstly makes a basic exposition of the homologous festivals in China andSouth Korea on the origin, development and current situation, and then extends toexpand the eating customs, etiquette customs and entertainment customs in thehomologous festivals between China and South Korea, comparing the festival culturesin two countries and finding the similarities and diversities. At last, according to thefestival survey, the author finds the development strategies for the homologous festivals.
