The Exploration Of Traditional Customs Of Great Festivals Between Thailand And China And Teaching Management To Take Grade-12 Students Of Sa-Nguanying School As An Example

The purposes of this research are to study and find out origins, objectives, commitment and forbiddance of 5 Chinese Important Festivals:Chinese New Year, The Mid-Autumn Festival, Qing Ming Festival, Chinese Ghost Festival and The Dragon Boat Festival by using questionnaires and interviewing for 37 Chinese-Thai people in Suphanburi province and then make a comparison to find out the different customs between China and Thailand. This study is for 100-grade-12 students of Sa-Nguanying school, Suphanburi province, academic year of 2014. They have studied 5 Chinese Important Festivals for 12 weeks. This experiment was set up in order to study and compare the academic achievements between pre-test and post-test of Chinese subject of 5 Chinese Important Festivals. The research instruments were 5 created handouts, pre-test, post-test and the satisfaction surveys for the students The results of the study were as follows:among the 100-grade-12 students.A few of them knew the origins and objectives of 5 Chinese Important Festivals, most of them just followed their ancestors a long time ago. So it causes these festivals become less nowadays; According to comparison of post-test and pre-test, post-test is higher which explains the effectiveness of the teaching practice. As a result, the author concludes five basic aspects that should be pay attention on the teaching of great festivals, including teachers, students, teaching material, teaching instrument and teaching method so as to provide reference to further study.
