The Space Modeling Art Education

Space modeling art, such as sculpture, public art or public devicesetc, is a Plastic Art form which is rendered or expressed in threedimensional spaces. It emphasizes the Stereoscopic effect of the art worksin the space and the visual feeling for their space occupation. It alsoconfirms on the combination between both the environment and thehumanities so that it makes apart from painting, photography or otherforms like Graphic Art. Through the measures of the research in literature,the practice of observation and the analysis of statistical datum etc,this Paper will mainly discuss the development of the Pattern of theeducation in Plastic Art and analyses its present situation in someChinese’s art institute in three aspects. First, we will make a reviewof the patterns of the Plastic Art education through Art History. And then,analyse the contemporary environment of Plastic Art education China,including the worthy of the inheritation toward the formal educationalor researching methods, the existing problems, and some conditionalfactors; At last, we will make an analysis of the artworks in the previoustwo "Graduate and Undergraduates’ outstanding visual public artworkexhibition of national art" Through the analysis, we can find out thenew faces, concepts, forms of college Plastic Art education with theproblems exposed in the exhibition, and their invention to the releventart education in both the present and the future. Finally, the conclusionsreached by the above aspects, the summary interpretation of art educationof university space modeling to present their views, including the furtherunderstanding of the reality of the situation, judge the realist traditionof rational dialectic for creativity training to strengthen thecombination of theoretical teaching and creative practice, combining foracademic creation and social needs，etc.
