There has been growing interests of Christianity in China in the past two or three decades, the followers from rural areas became major force among the Chinese church communities. Many scholars from different area had noticed and obtained outstanding research achievement. However, majority researches are focus on Philosophy and Religious perspective, and the lack of data from field research is also a significant problem. Furthermore, from anthropology part of research is nearly none. Therefore this paper makes a systematic study of Christianity from the perspective of anthropology and based on the study of one single village.My hometown is Aichai village, an ordinary village located in Lubei area, with population around2600. From July2011until February2012, the author came here six times, totally around8months to do field investigation. Personally,1think that rural believers are the special group, which has unique lifestyle and mental pursuit. The paper mainly explores this special group--Christians followers in Anchai village, the interrelationship between the traditional ritual and the religious systems, relationship between church and state in China, and self-sustaining, self-improving along with times changes.
