There are a large number of synonyms in the Chinese vocabulary, on the one hand,they enrich people’s language, to make it more precise and varied, on the other hand,synonymous with its own subtle differences and multi-faceted complexity, so thatpeople produces many mistakes when they used them. Especially for the secondlanguage learners, the analysis and proper use of synonyms are the difficulties oflearning Chinese vocabulary, and they are also the focus of teaching. In this paper,according to the characteristics of the foreign Chinese vocabulary teaching, combinedwith the results of previous studies and summarizes some of my own views, made aconcluding analysis of research on academic synonyms, did a simple survey analysisand finally used synonyms theory,and then combining with the investigation results andthe practical teaching Chinese as a foreign language, at last puts forward some strategiesand methods to improve the efficiency of vocabulary teaching.
