Chinese consists of three parts are pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar. Vocabulary is the building material of language, is the backbone of the language. Vocabulary teaching is the focus on teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and vocabulary and most of synonyms are important and difficult in teaching. Therefore, synonym teaching is an indispensable step in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.At present, more and more research on synonym discrimination, but they are expounded from one or a few, the authors summarize their study screened, coupled with some of his ideas for a research, hope to be able to have certain help for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In this paper, combining theory and practice of teaching, focus on the strategy of teaching Chinese as a second language. This article is divided into five parts, the first part, introduces the research significance of this topic, from two aspects of "teaching" and "learning". The second part is a synonym for ontology research, from the definition and types of the causes of synonyms and synonyms from two aspects. The third part is the study of the synonym discrimination, including differentiate synonyms teaching present situation, the analysis of causes of errors, synonym differentiation synonym. The fourth part is a synonym for questionnaires, including investigation, object, the purpose of the design and results of the survey and analysis. The fifth part, differentiate synonyms teaching countermeasures and research skills. This part will be met in the actual teaching for typical cases are analyzed. The sixth part is the conclusion part.
