There appear lots of problems in the development of our economy and society,but, as one of the method and a vital factor or a restraining mechanism to these problems,the factor of morality have been edged.Due to this phenomenon,it is significant to examine the relationship between economy and morality afreshly.Firstly,this paper retrospected the revolution of the outlook on development,and put an logical analysis on the nature of this concept to point out that the outlook on development is one of ideology.Secondly,pointed that there is not equality between"the economic man"and "the moral man"from the view of outlook of liberal development by Amartya Sen,concluded that the reason is the man-made antithesis and strip between the economy and the morality,by these analysis to find the returning route of man-kind and the rational premise of open.At the some time,the paper led the concept of "the substantive freedom" to alter the old paradigm of the narrow outlook on development and confirmed "the substantive freedom" is the final target and essential means of development.Thirdly, Amartya Sen constructed a new normative evaluation platform to treat the problem of poverty by "capability",but can we examine the view of wild informational basis to offer some suggestion for the developing countries to solve the poverty.Finally,on the premises of discarding the outlook on liberal development offered by Amartya Sen,confirming the defect of the outlook,we should rely on the Marxism theory to convert the outlook on development into useful means and mechanism which to solve the controversy.
