One part of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is vocabulary teaching. The successful affect of vocabulary teaching has much relation with our teaching goal. Degree adverb is an important project which is used many times. Although it has a small quantity, the complicate feature and different usages cannot be directly used in teaching. Therefore, the Chinese learners have many kinds of errors in the course of learning and communication. This paper selects thirty-four degree adverbs from HSK. Then choose the effective instances on the base of HSK composition. Then analyze the error types and try to find the reason. On the base of the analysis to describe degree adverbs, try to summarize some laws in order to apply to teaching. In the end, the author gave some proposals to do some help to teaching. The paper is divided into five parts:Part One:Something on modern study about degree adverbs which is a summary on the base of former scholars. Another thing is some explanations on study methods and the source of sentences.Part Two:A summary to error types. Summarize the error type on the base of thirty-four adverbs of HSK.Part Three:Analyze the reasons of errors. Summarize the reasons on the base of last chapter.Part Four:Suggest some teaching methods on the base of the preceding research.
