Easter Jin and Nan Bei dynasty is an important changeable period in ancient Chinese thought. The most outstanding change is the situation of the dominant Confucianism replaced by the Confucianism Buddhism and Taoism.During this period, the spread of Buddhism in China caused conflicts with Chinese inherent culture. These conflicts are mainly about whether the spirit disappears or not after death, cause and effect, civilization and barbarism, teaching level, kingship and the church. After these debates, Buddhism and Chinese culture showed a complete difference. People have understood that if Buddhism wants to successfully develop in China, it must adapt to the Chinese culture tradition. After an tortuous development, Buddhism became an organic constituent of Chinese culture. In this period, Taoism become an mature religion through absorbing the ethics of Confucianism and some precepts of Buddhism.
