Hotel Uniform Rapid Design System Research

Along with the rise of tourism industry, the development of the hospitalityindustry has been promoted, and the demand for designed hotel uniforms hasincreased. The hotel uniforms hold essential importance to ascended hotels’ image,reflecting their service and culture. However, at present, the designed hotel uniformsmeet following problems: lack of creativity and normative standard, the designingperiodic is long, etc. Especially, many designers cannot use the professional softwareor apply the style library; they may only use the ordinary software such as coreldraw,photoshop and Illustrator. It makes the cost high and the efficiency low, adverselyaffecting the efficiency in design, processing, marketing and market operation.This project takes hotel uniforms as its research object, and with basic theorystudies, investigation and statistics, the experimental designs and data analysis, aswell as the different positions characteristics for hotel uniforms designclassification, establishing a hotel uniforms style library.In accordance with the hotel uniform style library, this project selects theappropriate design tools, constructs the hotel uniforms design components vectorlibrary, forms a set of rapid design system which is suitable for hotel uniformsdesigns, thus improving the design efficiency and normalization, satisfying thetrend of specialization and specification.Through the test of hotel uniforms rapid design system, this project meets thedemand of professional and non-professional designers, receiving a relatively goodrecognition. It also reduces the difficulties in the design of hotel uniforms for bothprofessional and non-professional designer, achieving the purpose of simple, rapid,efficient designing. This project provides practical and effective skills in hoteluniform designing, which is of great practical value; the research of the subject alsoenriches hotel uniforms design theory, which is also of academic value.
