Zhuangzi Thought Peculiarities Of Linguistics

In this paper, The Linguistic Thought of" ZhuangZi " was explained, annotated and translated and it was analyzed and discussed combineing with The Contemporary Linguistic Theory, which is including the explanation of the " Ming Shi View ", understanding of the nature of language, the importance of the language function and effect, the description of " get " and " loss " in language transmission process, the analysis of the cause that why people can speak and the elaborated of the relationship between language and character of ZhuangZi. We refer to exhume these linguistic issues in order to make people know that ZhuangZi made an indelible contribution in the field of Linguistics Pre-Qin Days.This article contain seven chapters:The first Chapter mainly is the significance of the topic of this paper and an overview of the research status at home and abroad, in addition also explained documents and materials in this paper, because the reference literature and version is the most critical part of the thesis.Because ZhuangZi inevitably involved in the intense discussion of the " Ming Shi" in Pre-Qin days, so it is extremely important for describing the " Ming Shi view " of ZhuangZi, for this reason, we described and analyzed it with a separate list of the chapter in the second Chapter. ZhuangZi explicitly affirmed that the " Ming " was depended on the " Shi ", He believes that " Ming is less important than Shi". He thought that we must make the " Shi" as the center," Ming " should be always living in the supplementary subordinate place. He also believed that " Ming is fall behind the Shi", in other words," Ming " is according to the " Shi ", There is the corresponding relationship between the two. In ZhuangZi’s view, the substance of the object which have different names is the same, so he proposed the point of view that " Differences Ming With the Same Shi"ZhuangZi analyzed the nature of the language in the third chapter. He had a profound understanding of the limitations of language, which is the the most proud of ZhuangZi and praised by many linguists later. ZhuangZi thought that neither the" Dao " nor the " Wu Xiang " is enough to express using the language, he also did not completely negate the field that the language can express, but to recognize the practicality of the language, and even clearly identified the side that the language can express," which can express is the rude side of the object ". Moreover, ZhuangZi also revealed the characteristics of human language and the difference between human language, animal sounds and natural sounds, which is a unique insights and a thought-provoking problem. In addition to this, ZhuangZi also thought " Wu were named by people ", that mean the language was called by people, not the nature has given, and is arbitrary in the naming of things, the relations between things and names are free, not related.ZhuangZi had a great importance in language function in the fourth chapter. He noted the important role of the language at that social to show us how to communicate is the most appropriate. In his view, language is not enough to express the objective world, but if it can be expressed, that must find ways to express the best. ZhuangZi also recognized that " get" and " lost" are existing in language transfer process and had a detailed explanation to illustrate it.ZhuangZi had thought the children’s language and explained why people can speak in the fifth Chapter. ZhuangZi thought that the children can not speak when they are yong, but later they are able to speak, that is because they are getting along and talking together with the people who can speak. That is to say, the language is not innate, but a learned. If the Language ability is not to learn for the people who can speak, the Language talent of the people will not become the actual language abilityZhuangZi illustrated the character come from the sound language which is used to record sound language in the sixth Chapter.We made The Linguistics Thought of ZhuangZi as a whole overview and summarized it in order to fully affirm the ZhuangZi’s position, the contribution and value in the linguistic history, I hope to attract the attention of the people on the Linguistic Thought of ZhuangZi in the seventh Chapter.
