Wang Shaofang, who plays a male character typesare equally famous as Yan Fengying of female role. Which indicate that comparedwith women, men also have their own uniqueness. However, for an extended periodof time, male tone in Huangmei Opera is feminized constantly. So someone in theview of aesthetics suggested that we should set aside the tradition of both feminineand masculine spirit to take the old road of Shaoxing Opera.
