The Qin weapons laid the important material basis for the unified of Qin Dynasty in the Spring and Autumn Period. On the one hand, Qin weapons was recorded in lots of classic books; On the other hand, Qin weapons which were buried in the ground were excavated in recent decades, in particular, Terracotta Warriors and Horses pit was unearthed in1974, showing us a large number of Qin weapons; What’s more, the network developed greatly in recent years, many private collectors published their collections on the Internet, although some of which are fakes, but some of which are very important for the study of Qin weapons.Inscriptions on the weapons are very valuable for the research on the military, society, cultural and other aspects of the Qin Dynasty, it also is also very important for us to understand the changes on Chinese ancient characters. For the importance and the big amount of the inscriptions, the Qin weapons were fully studied by a lot of scholars. However, there is still no systematic summarize for the inscriptions of the Qin weapons, some problems were still not solved; Meanwhile, new unearthed materials were continued to be excavated, making old puzzles clearer.For the above, I want to make a systematic summarize in this paper, listing previous research results here, trying to do some research on the new discovered Qin weapons. This paper will be sequenced in times; basic information as well as various research results of the inscriptions of the Qin weapons will be presented. Some will be with the note. reservations about the previous point. will be quotationed selectively At the end of the paper attached the summary table and an overview of several special kinds of inscriptions for the Qin weapons. I hope this paper will provide Convenience for others.
