This article regards the Chinese13-20th historical novel as a research object, sets them in a linguistic environment composed of the evolution of Chinese historical novels since Song and Yuan Dynasties and the present-day culture ideology. It mainly uses a Intrinsic Approach with narrating study to analyze and elaborate the narrative strategy of Chinese historical novels and the in-depth structure of texts. The article takes the text analysis as a foundation, analyzes the structural form of the novel from two aspects:the value orientation and the main key of emotion. It also points out the prominent and insufficient aspects in the construction of human nature. The article believes that the dialogue existing in Chinese historical novels between the culture ideology and individual ideology is exactly the important core of the subject spirit. The main body of this article is composed of three parts. As its title suggests, is a relatively straight forward reflection of historical events and figures. The Songs、The Lament and Myth, on the other hand, refracts the mainstream opinions at that time. With a panoramic view of historical narration from The pre-Qin period to Wei and Jin dynasties, it can be argued that historical novel based its narrative patterns largely upon historical narration, including a mixture of mythology and historical events, sanctification of human beings and a telling of made-up events. Moreover, as writers during Tang Dynasty made a clear effort to tell stories, it is thus reasonable to consider Tang Dynasty’s Legend as the first historical fiction work in Chinese literature. the thesis tries to identify the change of historical fiction. Viewed in this light, the study of this (subject matter)will help people understand better not only the development of the thesis begins with a reflect upon the genesis of Chinese per se, but also the significance of novel development between the13th and20th centuries.Focusing on the further development of fictional techniques for historical novels in the modern period, we aimed to solve two key problems:how to use fictional techniques in historical popular story, historical romance and hero saga, as the representative of historical novels, to integrate history and fiction into the novel text more perfectly and make themselves occupy the historical power of discourse. We also investigated into the use of integration of fiction and history in the novels from the circulation and evolution of story of Yue Fei or Diao Chan. In addtion, we discussed the effects caused by fictional narrative in historical novel except literature---the relationship with literature authority. As writers during Tang Dynasty made a clear effort to tell stories. Viewed in this light, the study of this (subject matter) will help people understand better not only the development of the thesis begins with a reflect upon the genesis of Chinese per se, but also the significance of novel development between the13th and20th centuries. In an attempt to understand the subject matter, this thesis ventures to provide a historical analysis of historical novel by examining them. The transformation of fictional narrative of the modern historical novel began at the end of the nineteenth century. The third chapter’s primary content is about how the upsurge of discussion about the definition of "historical novel" rose against the background of diversification.Modern historical novelists drew into the Western conception and expression of the novel, which began a new level of exploration of the direction of the historical novel. In this sense, they took "The Story of Qiu Ranke" as the origin of the historical novel, and, combining the chuanqi genre with vernacular fiction, expanded on the historical novel’s description of life and psychology. This fictional narrative plot, influenced by romanticism. Another portion of historical novelists of the revolution emphasized the imitation of society and politics in historical novels. They turned back toward the traditional literary form of historical novels; in vogue among the people was the storytelling novels that grew out of traditional art. These two points were often overshadowed by the brilliance of the May Fourth novelists, yet did deeply influence the course of fictionalization of the contemporary historical novel.
