Extensions; shows the continuous time and the outstretched space,which appeared in the combination of time and space. In the dancing posture, it means the ultimate extension or the slow stretching of body line or certain parts of the body. In the feeling of dancer, it is a kind of imaginary and visional force, which dominated the dancer’s state.The first chapter and the second chapter are about discussing and summarizing of the extending movement.Based on different social histories and cultural backgrounds, extending movement shows four different dimensions:the extension of the power, the extension of the airflow, the extension of the limbs, and the extension of the props. This article tries to sorted out and summarize from three aspects:inner body of the dancers, the body itself and the outer body. Then it analyzes extension action’s emotions of formation born in the large cultural background by exploring the emotional wellspring of extension action. Extension action’s emotions off en happen in Spatio-temporal crisscross, showing abstract symbols recorded the early human emotions to heaven and earth. Just because there are these feelings, many works based on extension action look so sincerely.The third chapter are about aesthetical research to extending movement:extending movement shows a kind of linear or curve form of aesthetic.The extension of linear action to burst out the passion of gothic architecture and the curve of the action shows the extension of the natural beauty of clever.The fourth chapter analyzes the spirit of art of extending movement, which mainly investigate the relation between extending movement of the body and soul, the differences between the Chinese and western of viewpoints about body cognition influence their dance movements language which showed fully in the extending movement,too.
