Compared with the Indo-European language system, the most prominent Chinese characteristics is the lack of morphological changes, grammatical function mainly performances through form words and word order. Since the last century80’s, the verb phrases has drawn great attention of many linguists, with the resultant depth study of the above, the situation with the objects has become one of the hot researches.This paper analyzed verb-resultative construction with Objects in syntax and semantics constraints, but also discusses its links with other relevant sentence This article is divided into three chapters besides the introduction and the conclusion:The first chapter described and defined the " VR+O" structure, and divided it into two categories:"causer+causative manner-causative result+direct causee" and " causer+causative manner-causative result+indirect causee" from the [+cause] feature point of the semantic structure; The paper considered the "VR+O" structure not only could be a complement in verb-coping sentence, but also have close relationship with topic sentence.The second chapter discussed the influence of predicates on the "VR+O" structure from the perspective of the semantic features, and investigated the verbs can be predicate and the verbs can be complement respectively. According to the [+/-animals],[+/-continued],[+/-independent],[+/-attached] and other semantic features and some emotional state, this chapter made a simple analysis of the verbs which suitable for the "VR+O" structure. In addition, based on the division of the adjective situation types, this chapter investigated some adjectives which suitable for "VR+O" structure from the perspective of the valence of adjectives.The third chapter discussed the influence of object and complement in the "VR+O" sturcture from the semantic point of view. First summarizes the previous studies about the complement semantic refering, divided the complement into the core semantic complement and non-core semantic complement, the core semantic complement refering to causer, causative manner and causee, the non-core semantic complement refering to tool components, premises components and material components, and have a brief discussion of the dual refering of the complement. Second the paper analyzed the object semantic types which apply to the "VR+O" structure from the aspect of the semantics, and analized the cause of the object can not appear in the "VR+O" structure from a pragmatic point of view.
