Landscape Painting Raindrop Cun And Seurat Stippling Elementary Introduction

During my painting journey at China Central Academy of Fine Arts, I build up a strong interest in raindrops wrinkling method in Chinese landscape paintings.Chinese paintings and western paintings have many ways in common such as the composition,the form and aesthetics.Among many forms in Chinese and western paintings,I find my interest---it’s clot. This is sufficient for landscape paintings(Above all,brush stroke in Chinese landscape painting is displayed with the dots.)Both the line and plane are made up of many dots. and dot is the most basic element that forms everything in the world.I give some examples which are my favorite paintings,such as A Solitary Temple amid Clearing Peaks, Travellers among Mountains and Streams, Marvelous spectacle of Xiaoxiang and some works by Gongxian.I also learn some skills from Georges Seurat’s works like The Bridge at Courbevoie.By imitating these works,I learn many things and they are quite suitable for me.
