The Wanli Korean War,is also known as The Renchen War,which was launched bythe Japanese emperor Toyotomi Hideyoshi and erupted at korean peninsula as thebattlefield. The war continued for seven years. It is more than400years fromthe outbreak of war. The Ming government dispatched hundreds of thousands ofsoldiers from beginning to end, and spent nearly eight million silver. Chinaand North Korea the two countries eventually through the tough battles and wonthe victory.Wanli Korean War is called by Chinese history books,"the pacification ofNingxia Bobai insurrection", and "the pacification of Guizhou Yang Yinglonginsurrection" are referred to as the "three campaigns of Wanli".But the war isdivided into twice to record by Japanese history books. One is named “Wenlucampaign”(the first year of Wenlu),the other is named “Qingchang campaign”(Japanese government launched the second war in the second year of Qingchang)respectively. Similarly,in North Korean the war is known as twice" Japanesepirate invasion”,named "Renchen War".In the ancient history of East Asia, thewar was involved the widest area, lasted for the longest time, and had the mostprofound influence.About the cause of the war, should set about analysing the internationalbackground of that time and the conditions of China, Japan, Korean. At that time, the East Asian tributary system, the Ming Dynasty as the core, came underchallenges from Japan and the Western, and appeared signs of loosening. So afterToyotomi Hideyoshi completed the unification. He distracted target overseasunder the cover of the thoughts of God,vainly attempted to use North Korea asa springboard to conquer China, next India, eventually dominated the whole Asia. While The Ming government was inadequately prepared for the sudden war, anddiverged about assistance or not.It provided an opportunity for Japan to expandrapidly. The peace negotiation become a significant feature.Japanese government thought that was subsidiary part of the war strategy, and wanted to consolidatetheir results through it.But the government of Ming wanted to end the war, tomaintain the integrity and authority of the tributary system. It was the concreteimplementation of the Jimi policy. However, due to personal factors of negotiators, negotiation eventually degenerated into a farce of the war. A commoner ShenWeijing as a representative of the negotiation, showed his "Rogue" diplomaticskills, played both leadership like an organ. The impossible negotiation becamepossible, and delayed indefinitely. Of course,"he who plays with fire willsurely get burnt." His final fate had proveed this point. The problems exposedare worth learning.China and North Korean are the neighboring countries that separated only bya stripe of water both countries are inter-dependent.The victory of the war notonly stabilized the situation in East Asia, but also enhanced the friendshipbetween the two countries. But more importantly, the war greatly paid for theMing dynasty and north Korea’s increasingly declining domestic political andeconomic, especially the development of the history of the Ming dynastyinflection point. The loser Japan is only apparent. In fact, they profited a lotfrom the war, prepared conditions for the long-term development. The Wanli Korean War is an important war in the history of northeast Asia. Therefore, this research not only helps to restore the situation, situation andinternational relations, and understand Shen Weijing diplomatic activity andthe effect of the historical figures such as, even to the Korean nuclear issuein today’s increasingly serious also. History tells us that only for him theability to provide international status. History also tells us, victory alwaysbelongs to the side of justice, can only be of the masters in internationalrelations.
