Research On Publishing Activities Of Shaanxi Weijing Academy And Weijing Official Publishing Houses In Late Qing

In the 12th year of Tongzhi(1873),Shaanxi Xuezheng Xu Zhenan founded Weijing Academy in Jingyang.In the 17th year of Guangxu's reign(1891),Shaanxi academic administration ke fengshi founded the Weijing Official Publishing Houses,and the Wei Jing academy began to organize large-scale book publishing activities.By the 28th year of Guangxu's reign(1902),The Weijing Academy was merged with Chongshi and Hongdao Academy was changed into Hongdao University Hall.And the Wei Jing Kan Shu Chu was immediately transformed into Wei Jing Guan Shu Chu and began to print new books.The main research object of this article is the publications of Shaanxi Weijing Academy and Weijing Official Publishing Houses in the late Qing Dynasty.This article intends to re-examine the Shaanxi Academy culture and its modern transformation through the investigation of the publishing activities of the Weijing Academy and Weijing in Shaanxi in the late Qing Dynasty.After two investigations in Shaanxi,the author consulted the editions of nearly 100 kinds of Weijing Academy and Weijing Official Publishing Houses in shanxi library and shanxi normal university library.This paper is divided into seven parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research origin,research significance,research summary and research deficiencies of this topic.The second part is a brief history of Weijing Academy and Weijing Official Publishing Houses.It mainly introduces the creation and ending of the two.It is the biggest discovery in this section to determine the correct position of Weijing Official Publishing Houses.The third part mainly sorts out the publication stages of the printed editions of the Weijing,at the same time examines Liu Guangfen's contribution to the publication of the Weijing Academy and the external factors that promote the publication of the Weijing Academy,and makes a longitudinal study of the history of the Shaanxi Weijing publication.The fourth part is the management and operation mode of publication books,which mainly studies the sources of funds,staffing,principles of book proofreading,printing features and book board disposal of Weijing Academy and Weijing Official Publishing Houses.The fifth part is the research on the publications of the taste classics.Through the investigation and research on the publications of the taste classics academy and the taste classics official publishing house,the article makes a classified research on these publications.The sixth part is about the academic achievements and cultural contributions of the Weijing Academy and Weijing Official Publishing Houses,especially the re-examination of the value of the reprinted edition of Mao Shi Zhu Shu.The seventh part is the conclusion,which makes a brief review of this article.There are 12 appendices attached to the text,or they contain the relevant original materials hidden in shanxi library,such as The Bibliography of Weijing and Chuanjing,The Bibliography of Weijing Official Publishing Houses and The Bibliography to be Printed by Shaanxi Weijing Official Publishing Houses.Or compiled some new content,such as Chronology of Weijing Publications and The Storage Table of Weijing Publications.Based on the investigation and study of the Weijing Academy and the Weijing Official Publishing Houses,this paper systematically combs the published history books of Shaanxi local Weijing printed editions,both vertically and horizontally.
