This article, under the guiding of the traditional Chinese philosophy, combinedwith Wang Xufeng’ novel about tea, researches how to maintain the spirit ofindependence and pureness in contemporary cultural context full of vulgarity andimpetuosity. It shows the pursuit of harmonious spirit for heaven, earth and man. Itincludes six parts: the Introduction, four chapters and epilogue.The introductory paragraph with the summary of the core content of WangXufeng’ literary creation and the combing of related research, has pointed out that thepurpose of the writing and innovations.In chapter one, the article has analyzed Literary Features of Wang Xufeng’ workfrom three aspects: environment settings, character set and plot set; meanwhile, it hasalso discussed the similarity between tea and harmonious spirit. Her novel can besummarized as a beautiful “Tea Story "in a “Tea City “about “tea people". Theenvironment is set in the beautiful Hangzhou city where both the humanities andnatural environments related to tea have been presented completely in her work. Incharacterization, Wang Xufeng has described the similarity between human and teafrom peoples’ behaviors and spiritual ethos; In the setting of the plot, the Social andhistorical background is set in the modern historical background with tea as theclues. The novel has used various things related to tea to promote the development ofthe story. Clearly, the key point for Wang Xufeng’ works is tea literary about "tea".At the same time, in her works,"tea" matches perfectly the harmonious spirit. Chaptertwo and three describe heaven, earth and the harmonious spirit from two aspects.Harmony-the perennial law of the universe, dominates people’s thinking and behavior,includes the desire and pursuit for amiable and harmonious relationship between manand nature, man and man, man and society.The second chapter analyzes the harmony of the people which mainly shows inthe temperature and the relationship between people. The temperature focuses onspiritual cultivation, shaping human characteristics as tea; the relationship betweenpeople, through respect, courtesy and forbearance, has made the Hang familymaintain good interpersonal relationships in interaction with others, all of which haveembodied the ethical spirit. The third chapter discusses the harmony between man and nature, man andsociety in Wang Xufeng’ work.. Harmony is the natural state for things to normallyexist and running is the best state of society developing. Wang Xufeng uses Lu Yu’idea about harmonious beauty of thoughts of tea to show harmony between man andnature; harmony between man and society refers the realization of harmonious andorderly relationship between man and society is based on the overcoming ofcontradictions. From the analysis of chapter two and three, we can see that thespiritual connotation framework of Wang Xufeng’ novel is based on the harmony ofthe human temperature and the relationship between people; thus achieving theharmony between man, nature and society.The fourth chapter points out that Wang Xufeng’ literary creation, under thecondition that the deficient and poor spirit of contemporary literature and the urgentneed of literature faith, has always maintained a spiritual independence and pureness.The pursuit for harmony of heaven, earth and man in her work is totally against to thenoisy and impetuous contemporary society. Clearly, Wang Xufeng’ pursuit ofharmonious spirit is inspirational for contemporary literature. And her avocation forsuch spirit also has a great inspiration for the reader to reflect on contemporary life.In this paper, the conclusion is that Wang Xufeng with the awe of tea,harmonious spirit for heaven, earth and man come to light in the tea of this plantcontain rich flavor. This for contemporary literature mental retardation, and poor, aswell as contemporary tea culture lost case, can be described as a beacon. Her teacreative themes evoke national memory readers for tea, guide the reader to taste Teaimplication, deepen the readers tea spirit.
