Zou Tao "all Set" Research

“Jiao Chou Ji” was writted by Zou Tao in the late Qing Dynasty. It has beenrecognized when first published, spread more widely. However it has not been paidmore attention in recent years, especially the professional paper can be counted onone’s fingers, and the points of view are relatively single. Therefore, this paper tries tobreak through the current level on the basis of previous studies, my research into theauthors and works more deeply and systematically, hoping the reader to have a morefair and objective evaluation of “Jiao chou ji” and determine its position in literaryhistory.This paper is mainly divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction, summary and review on the research status of“Jiao chou ji”. Analysis is mainly from three aspects of the research: the first aspect isabout the preface and postscript and commenting on the publication of“Jiao chou ji”,many scholars at all the comments and the preface, this information is the mostoriginal first-hand data for the research of “Jiao chou ji”. The second aspect is aboutresearch and other works of fiction history. A lot of the history of the novel hasinvolved in “Jiao chou ji”, but there are some flaws and mistakes and not deep enoughand system.The third aspect is about research papers."Monographic study on Jiaochou ji" has been lacking, but it seems to be more and more attention from theacademic circles in recent years. There are five articles about “Jiao chou ji”, involvingseveral ideological content, artistic characteristics and so on, but still not system andthere are gaps. In view of this, this paper will study systematically on "Jiao chou ji",trying to grasp the "Jiao chou ji" from the overall set.The second part is mainly to discuss Zou Tao’s life and the creation of his novel.The first section, mainly introduces Zou Tao’s family background. First of all,itdescribes his poor family life and difficult road of study, Then It describes Zou Tao’sfrustration he had suffered in the imperial examination road. All of these influent toZou Tao’s creation motive and the ideological content of Jiao chou ji. The second section introduces the friends of Zou Tao’s early life. The third section introduces thecreation background, motivation and the editions of "Jiao chou ji".It analyse thetextual research on Mr. Xiao Xiangkai’s version and Ruan Dongsheng’s versioncomparatively.The third part is an overview of the novel’s Ideological content. It is divided intofour sections: the first section focuses on the analysis of works to expose and criticizethe officialdom, the imperial examination and the heart. As the lower literati, Theauthor’s understanding of the time dark sober is clear and the critical is strong. Thesecond section summarizes the main works of true love and kindness and chivalrysentiment affirmation and praise. The third section summarizes the works of Zou Taoexpressed the ideal world and good personality. The fourth section summarizes thework of current anecdote descriptions.The fourth part discusses theartistic characteristics of "Jiao chou ji". It is dividedinto three sections. The first section discusses artistic conception of "Jiao chou ji".Zou Tao used multiple art, creating a kind of false and true, a quality suggestive ofpoetry or painting artistic conception. The second section discusses the setting of theplot of the novel, points out the works of artistic features of the twists and turns. Thethird section discusses the art of satire novel,"Jiao chou ji" formation of satirical stylein the direct competitive style. The author also used a variety of irony in the works.The fifth part is the comparative study of "Jiao chou ji". The first section mainlywill compare "Jiao chou ji" with "Liao zhai zhi yi", grasping its similarities anddifferences in the theme content and the system. The second section compares it with"a dream of Red Mansions".The third section will compare it with the other works.Finally It points out that “Jiao chou ji” not only embodies a rich ideologicalcontent, but also shows a colorful art world in many imitation "Liaozhai" works. TheIdeological and artistic value of "Jiao chou ji" should be a space for one person in thehistory of Chinese fiction.
