Dmitri Dmitriyevich Shostakovich (Dmitry Dmitrievitch Shostakovich,1906.09.25,1975.08.09) is the music of the twentieth Century classic characters, butalso the famous Soviet composer, Shostakovich’s music not directly from traditionalcomposition techniques, is also not the pure atonal, twelve tone, serial music, musicclass collection of creation. He relies on traditional music composing technique as asupport and pave the way, on the basis of innovation, to form their own style.The composer and the inner world of the situation is not divided, first you shouldknow what the composer wanted to express a central idea and how to expressemotions and catharsis. The understanding of a composer’s creative style, we mustunderstand its creation background (historical background, political situation how,living environment, as well as to what is the purpose of creation).In this paper, basedon the focus of the late Shostakovich two songs (fourteenth, Fifteenth) String Quartetand four aspects of the creative style of composer, understand what harmonytechnique to the interpretation of his own inner world. This paper first understand atthis time in history and the characteristics and creation of advanced two pieces in thebackground, then we focused on using what kind of harmonic techniques to present,what are the unique personal creation, finally summarizes the composer harmonystyle.Full text discussed mainly through three parts: the first part is about theshostakovich string quartet in late two creative overview. First carried out on thecomposer’s life and work, the second is about shostakovich string quartet worksoverview, the last is the creation of the late two string quartet openings background.The second part is about shostakovich string quartet in late two harmonic analysis.Mainly through the structure analysis, such as melody, rhythm, theme, etc., followedby analyzing the modal tonality, for example, the third is the chord structure, such as:traditional three-dimensional superimposed chord chord in situ, inversion, and open insitu permutation is applied, multi-tone longitudinal chord chord and seventh chordand9apply, with the use of additional chord, the use of composite chords,longitudinal coupled use of superimposed chord three times.4for harmony, such as:traditional functional harmony, chromatic transverse progressions, linearizationprogressions, relationship between dissonant intervals, sustainability factors. The thirdpart is about the shostakovich string quartet harmony in late two style, gives a generaloverview of the composers and sound creation style.
