The Research On The Theory And Practice Of China’s Regional Ethnic Autonomy

National Regional Autonomy, which is the correct road for China’s nationalconditions that the Communist Party of China makes the basic principles of Marxismon the ethnic issue combine with China’s specific conditions to have explored duringa long-term process of revolution and practice, is not only for solving ethnicproblems policy in China, but also China’s a basic political system. Since the reformand opening up, China’s regional ethnic autonomy system has got great developmentwhether at the theoretical level or practical level and have achieved great success anda lot of valuable experience.In the new period of building a moderately prosperous society, we still have tocontinue to adhere to the system of regional ethnic autonomy without wavering andto develop and improve this system according to the age’s changes. The research onthe theory and practice of the Party’s regional ethnic autonomy has importantpractical significance for strengthening our national unity, safeguarding nationalunity and opposing ethnic separatism and maintain social stability, speeding up thedevelopment of various undertakings of the minority areas and achieving thecommon prosperity of all ethnic groups. This paper will discuss regional ethnicautonomy in the new era in details in literature research, the theory and practice ofhistory and logic and other methods in order to have a more comprehensive inductionof the problem. The aim is to uphold and improve the system of regional ethnicautonomy further and promote a harmonious socialist society by discussing thechallenges facing the implementation of regional ethnic autonomy in the new era,and putting forward my own points.This article is divided into four parts: The first section describes the basis andsignificance of the topics, and the related studies home and abroad have beensummarized and reviewed, noting that the idea of this research, research methods andresearch focus on the difficulties and innovation. The second part describes thetheoretical origins of the regional ethnic autonomy, its exploring formative processand continuous improvement in practice. The third part discusses the meaning ofregional ethnic autonomy, status and role of regional ethnic autonomy, theoreticalcontributions of regional ethnic autonomy and practical significance. The fourth partresearches the regional ethnic autonomy in Xinjiang practice focus on the perspectiveof theory with practice and summarizes the basic achievements of practice, analysesthe challenges faced during the practice and points out some practical countermeasures to tackle the problem.
