Dong Biwu’s Thoughts And Practices Of United Front In The New-democratic Revolution

Comrade Dong Biwu is one of the inchoate leaders in the history of the CommunistParty of China who has made a great contribution to the national united front in all worksof life. Although the study about Dong’s thoughts and practices involving in the unitedfront has received some achievements, it still can be found that some issues have notemployed completely or others lack of in-depth and systematic investigation and research.Thus, this paper attempts to study the point about “Dong Biwu’s thoughts and practicesof united front in the New-democratic revolution”.From the viewpoint of Dong Biwu’s thoughts and practices of united front in theNew-democratic revolution and the united front history in the new-democratic revolutionof Chinese Communist, this study summarizes the contributions of Dong Biwu made onthe Marxism Chinese united front and the directions made by those thoughts on patrioticunited front. The first part systematically states that Dong Biwu made an attempt at theMarxism Chinese united front in the Great Revolution. The second part then concludesthe prominent contributions of Dong Biwu made on united front of the party, andgeneralizes abstractly his thoughts about the united front in this period. Part threediscusses the product of combination out of thoughts and practices of united front---theart of the united front. At last part four makes a clear point about the historical role ofthoughts and practices of united front by Dong Biwu, meanwhile points out its practicalsignificance.
