Research On Dong Biwu's Thought Of Anti-Japanese National United Front

Dong Biwu was one of the founders of the Communist Party of China and one of the leaders of the People's Republic of China.He was a long-tested proletarian revolutionary.During the period of China's revolution and construction,he had long been directly or indirectly engaged in the party's united front work and made significant contributions.Especially during the period of Anti-Japanese War,Dong Biwu represented the party standing in the vanguard position of the anti-Japanese national united front and broadly united people from all walks of life to make an important contribution to victory in the War of Resistance and expansion of the party's mass base.This article investigates Dong Biwu's anti-Japanese national united front from three aspects:first,the theoretical and practical basis of Dong Biwu's thought of anti-Japanese national united front;second,the basic content and main features of Dong Biwu's thought of anti-Japanese national united front;and third,the historical contribution and contemporary significance of Dong Biwu's thought of anti-Japanese national united front.Dong Biwu's anti-Japanese national united front thought has deep theoretical and practical foundations:first,based on the united front ideology of Marx,Engels,Lenin and Stalin and the harmony thought of ancient China,and second,based on the united front policy of the CPC Central Committee,and Dong Biwu's practice of united front work under the leadership of the CPC formed the practical basis of the thought.Dong Biwu's anti-Japanese national united front thought is rich in content,which mainly includes the discussion of the necessity,urgency,and possibility of establishing an anti-Japanese national united front,the analysis of the basic forces of the anti-Japanese national united front,and the interpretation of the working methods of the anti-Japanese national united front.Dong Biwu's anti-Japanese national united front has distinct theoretical features:policy character,practicality character,diversity character,and mass character.Dong Biwu's anti-Japanese national united front thought has important historical and practical significance:on the one hand,it provided theoretical support for the establishment of an anti-Japanese national united front and promoted the development of the anti-Japanese national united front practice.On the other hand,Dong Biwu's anti-Japanese national united front thought has a profound modern enlightenment significance:Closely linked to the theme of the times and consolidating the most extensive patriotic united front;Strengthen the leadership of the party and regard the work of the United Front as the work of the whole party;Grasp the two dimensions of the united front work and combine reasonable demands with leading contributions;Pay attention to self construction and improve initiative and enthusiasm of united front workers.
