| The concept of "political party" had has close relation with “class†since it wasborn. It can be said that the political parties is characterized by class. And the partypolitics is affected by the composition, structure of the class.Hong Kong has a pluralistic society. It is comprised by commercial andindustrial class which is the representatives of big businessmen〠the middleclass,which mainly comprised by professionals, and the grassroots class which is onbehalf of the ordinary people.Each class has different interest and demands, so theexistence of class status has affected the generation and the development of HongKong’s political parties. Also, the class status of Hong Kong shaped the characteristicsof party politics in Hong Kong.This paper will use literature research, history analysis, comparative law, andclass analysis,combined with the reality and characteristics of Hong Kong’s political,economic, cultural, to study the generation, the development and the characteristics ofHong Kong’s political parties,under the principle of political science, science ofpolitical parties. This paper tries to give a new interpretation of Hong Kong’ politicalparties from the class point of view and to enrich the study of Hong Kong’s politicalparties. |
