The United States of America misjudged the Post-Cold War era and the rise of emerging countries is essential to focus on the economic competition rather than military. The United States focus on military intervention, thus it triggered the global financial crisis and the result is that the US’s position in the world declined a lot. Because of the world’s pattern to produce major change, the foreign policy of the Obama administration appeared to adjust American policy on The Middle East t only strategies and tactics changes, rather than strategic change. Because of the strength of recession, the United States was forced to carry out strategic contraction with great power cooperation to maintain the hegemony.Since Obama becomes the president, his policy remains focused on the "Greater Middle East" which strives to ease relations with the Islamic world and Islamic world, and drives the substantive progress in the peace talks in the middle east; Obama shift the war filed to Afghanistan and gradually withdraw from Iraq; Obama admit the Iran’s power status in the Middle East after knowing the conflicts betweens this country and Us; Obama accepts European Union, Russia, China’s constructive role in the middle east. The factors that Middle East issue which is the talked hotly in the world whether will be adjusted by the US policy is still uncertain. The Obama administration may own some achievement in some other area but these issues are complex and involve an wide area, so that will be difficult to solve.
