Hu Jintao’s thought of combating corruption and building a clean government isthe achievement of the combination of Marx’s thought on combating corruption andbuilding a clean government and China’s reality,is the inheritance and developmentof the combating corruption thought of three generation collective leadership of ourparty.The Communist Party of China is an advanced party which had withstood thetest of history,practice,and the masses,is the firm core of leadership of the cause ofSocialism with Chinese characteristics.Improving the Party’s style of work, upholdingintegrity and combating corruption depend on the party’s nature and purpose,isinevitable requirement of improving the party’s governing capacity and maintainingthe party’s advanced nature. The thesis tries to systematically study on Hu Jintao’sthought of combating corruption and building a clean government, including thebackground content and significance as follows:The first part deals with the background of Hu Jintao’s thought of combatingcorruption and building a clean government.This part mainly discusses about therealistic background and the theoretical foundation which lay a scientific foundationfor the study of Hu’s thought.The second part mainly researches into the concrete content of Hu Jintao’sthought of combating corruption and building a clean government.It includes thestrategic position of this thought on the construction of our party,harmonious societyand the times;the strategic policy of this thought which stands for the aim of our workon combating corruption and building a clean government;the strategic task ofstrengthening the construction of system for combating corruption and building aclean government.The third part focuses on the strategic significance of Hu Jintao’s thought ofcombating corruption and building a clean government.There are two smaller parts inthis part，including the theoretical significance and the practical significance of thisthought.
