Xi Jinping's Research On Anti-corruption And Honesty

Anti-corruption is not only an important topic on political and social levels, but also a hot academic one. In retrospect, "anti-corruption" was put forward in the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China and "build clean politics" in the eighteenth, which not only reflects that the Communist Party of China pay high attention to contemporary China’s corruption, also reflects the cognition to the problems has already reached to a new high. The goal of "building a clean politics" has been pushed the issue of combating corruption and upholding integrity to a new level. After eighteenth NCCPC, under the leadership of Xi Jinping as the general secretary of the CCP, Central Committee promote the construction of anti-corruption by holding the banner of anti-corruption and putting forward a series of new ideas, new thoughts, new methods. Meanwhile, confusion has emerged in certain areas. Therefore, the research of Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption thought, may help to solve the confusion of understanding, but also provide useful reference to the research of anti-corruption ideas in the new era.This dissertation is divided into five chapters. We mainly study on conditions, content and the basic characteristics of Xi Jinping anti-corruption thoughts by researching relevant literature, combing, referring to the basis of previous thoughts of anti-corruption and practice of contemporary anti-corruption. We try to explore the relationship between the main content, and strive to form a more objective, accurate, and complete system of thoughts.The first chapter is the introduction part, analyzes the current academic research on the status of the thought, and find out the weak link in the current study by researching the domestic and foreign existing literatures on the thought of Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption system, pointing out the significance of this study and possible innovations. The second chapter analyzes the conditions of formation of Xi Jinping anti-corruption thoughts, this part mainly includes two aspects:the background and theoretical origins. There are three aspects on background:the international and domestic situation and the change of party situation. The theory origins come from Chinese traditional culture, Marx’s anti-corruption thought, the previous anti-corruption thoughts of Chinese Communist Party and foreign anti-corruption theory. The third chapter, mainly introduces the main contents of the thoughts of Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption.in eight aspects, which are the necessity and importance, basic points, the basic role of the ideological and moral education, "zero tolerance" punishment, improve the system of anti-corruption laws and regulations, and actively supervise, executive and insisting on. The fourth chapter, through the method of combining theory and practice, discussing the basic characteristic and important meaning of Xi Jinping anti-corruption thoughts, the thought has the courage, the times, the characteristics of practicality, systematization, people and inheritance, which is the guide to action and anti-corruption construction in the new period, to realize the "three" ideological guarantee, to lay the ideological foundation to promote the modernization of national governance and significance. The fifth chapter, through the research on the basis of characteristics of the formation conditions and main contents of the Xi Jinping ideas against corruption in the previous chapters, we analyzes the cognition confusions in the contemporary society, correct them, and deepen our overall understanding of Xi Jinping’s ideas against corruption.
