Cuba is the only socialist country in the Americas that has special difficulties todeal with for its existence and development. Incase of the structural imperfections in the domestic economy, the economicdevelopment of external dependence on a serious attachment to the Soviet Union, andU.S. hostility toward to Cuba,Cuba began its socialist construction. Early in thesocialist construction, Cuba had established an independent national economic system,achieved a fair distribution, established a sound social security system, and improvedthe quality of life constantly. Drastic changes in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe,Cuba lost its political backing and military protection of the Soviet Union, the UnitedStates began to strengthen the economic blockade against Cuba, a militarythreat,and the peaceful evolution,having maked the Cuban economy be in trouble,and rise reactionary forces. Hading faced the grim situation, Cuba began to reform inthe economic, political and social system, foreign affairs. Cuban situation graduallyimproved. Cuba also faced what social security expenditure beyond the economicaffordability and the allocation there are issues such as egalitarianism.
