Bride Price Changes During Urbanization In Guangxi Rural Areas

Since the reform and opening up policy, great changes have take place in traditional marriage culture and idea in China rural areas during the urbanization and the infiltration of modern thought.Gongcheng Yao autonomous county in Guangxi,as a minority autonomous county,has undergone bride price changes. This thesis to conduct research on change in the bride price of three representative villages-the lotus town Hongyan village, Sanjiang township Stone Village, A Buddhism goddess Guan yin Township Water Village bride price change situation as the research subject, I adopted the empirical research method, observation and literature review method to inspect the Guangxi Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County bride price changes situation.
