Since the belief in a just world had been raised by Lerner, it became an important research area inrecent years. With the progress of the study, belief in a just world theory has become increasingly diverse,appeared such concepts as belief in a just world for self and others, distributive and procedural justicebeliefs and so on, so that distributive and procedural justice beliefs for self and others emerged because ofdemand. Many studies indicate that Belief in a just world was expected to buffer against angry feelings,Belief in a just world can be seen as a personal resources that enables individuals to protect psychologicaland physical health. However, these research was limited in that specific components of justice beliefs(asbelief in a just world for self and belief in a just world for others), have not yet intersected with research ondistributive justice beliefs and procedural justice beliefs, not to mention distributive and procedural justicebeliefs for self and others. distributive and procedural justice beliefs for self and others was defined thatIndividuals believe themselves or others could get the deserved results, consequences, allocation ofresources and treatment, and believe themselves or others could subjected to the rules and procedures thatwere fair.First of all, through used some standard research methods such as exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis and so on, we revised distributive and procedural justice beliefs for self andothers scale which was compiled by Locus. Then, Such statistics as Stepwise regression analysis, structuralequation modeling of several groups were applied for the data analysis. The conclusions were drawn asfollowing:First, distributive and procedural justice beliefs for self and others scale was comprised of fourdimensions, namely distributive justice beliefs for self, distributive justice beliefs for others, proceduraljustice beliefs for self and procedural justice beliefs for others. The content validity of the scale accuracyreaches psychometric requirements.Second, It was found that the gender variable had some significant effects on the contents ofdistributive and procedural justice beliefs for self and others and anger expression. Third, it was discovered that procedural justice beliefs for self had significant negative effect onanger out-person, distributive justice beliefs for self and procedural justice beliefs for self both hadsignificant negative effect on anger out-object.Fourth, family socioeconomic status was found to significantly moderate the relationshipsbetween distributive justice beliefs for self and anger out-object.Finally, Current limitations and future research orientation were also discussed at the end of thedissertation.
