From The Inheritor To The Spectator

Baed on the survey of the traditionally cultural life in Guanfa village, Zhijin county, where miao, yi, and buyi people popoluate, the thesis firstly inquires into the changes of the village, the achievements and shortcomings during the process of constructing new rural culture, then sums up the problems in the process, finally provides some suggestions to solve them.It consists of four parts:The first part, introduction. This part introduces the research background of the traditional and new rurual cultrue in Guanfa village of Zhijin county, and the history and current situation on this topic home and abroad.The second part, informatiaon about the village. This part refers to the location, population structure, and culrural activity of the village and makes a definition of constructing new rural culture.The third part focuses on the current situation of constructing the new rural culture here. While this activity benefits the transportation, entertainments, communicaiton, education and health, it causes some problems, escpecially those of traditioanl cultures.The fourth part, solutions. This part explores the relationships between the construction of new rural culture and the heritage of the traditional culture in the western rural areas. It also gives solution to problems in this activity, taking the government and the villagers in consideration.Based on the four parts mentioned above, the thesis probes into the possible approach to both constructing the new rural culture and passing down the traditional rural culture.
