On The Proletariat Leaders

How to know, evaluate and treat leader, especially the proletariat leaders and their historic function is not only one important theoretical issue of Marxism-Leninism and Mao Tse tung Thought, but also a significant practical one concerning the success or failure of the socialist cause and the fate and future of the Party and the country.This paper is divided into three parts:the first part is the philosophical basis of the theories of leaders, concerning both necessity and contingency of the history and the general and the individual of it; the second part is the proletariat leaders and their historic function, including the relationship of the masses, class, political party and the leaders, leaders’nature and function, and the basic theories of Marxism’s the proletariat leaders; the third part is about the cult of the individual and the authoritarianism. By comparing the recognition of the mistakes made by the proletariat leaders and how to treat the mistakes between China and Soviet Union, a conclusion can be drawn that the essence of the cult of the individual and the authoritarianism and they are harmful so that we can consider the proletariat leaders more correctly and scientifically.
