Study On The Effective Realization Of Chinese Migrant Workers’ Social Interest Demands

Our country is in a period of transition from traditional society to modern society. Increasingly serious interest differentiation will inevitably bring about the diversification of the different groups of interest demands. At the same time, the social transition and the political democratization promoted the public’s enthusiasm of political participation. People have a strong wish for expressing their wishes to policy-makers, which can influences the formulation of public policies and can help them achieve their own interests.At present, migrant workers is a special category of China’s economic and social structure transformation.They have an extremely important position in the socialist modernization construction. With the improvement of social status of migrant workers, migrant workers’ social interest demands are increasingly becoming the focus of society and government. Migrant workers faced many difficulties in the process of social interest demands and many interests cannot be effectively achieved. Because there are the limitations of the household registration system, poor channels of interest demands, imperfect legal system, lack of interest organizations and so on. migrant workers is in the long period of imbalance rights, which shake the cornerstone of social stability and challenge the party’s political legitimacy. Therefore, we must explore the reasons which social interest demands of migrant workers cannot be effectively realization. Only in this way can we propose feasible policy. It will help to promote positive interaction between the subject and the decision-makers and build a harmonious society.Based on the basic concept, in this thesis, I deeply analyze the main social interest demands of migrant workers and its realization. We concluded that migrant workers’social interest demands cannot be effectively realization. And then I explored its reasons in terms of household management, the demands of channels, laws and regulations, the traditional concept. According to the existing problems and reasons, we should take the following solutions:to reform the management system of the household registration, to improve the channels of migrant workers’ social interest demands, to provide legal aid,to establish specialized laws and regulations, to strengthen the law enforcement and punishment, to increase the degree of organization, to establish self-regulatory agencies on behalf of the interests of migrant workers, to enhance the service and social responsibility consciousness of government and enterprise. We expect to provide some opinions and suggestions in order to realize migrant workers’ social interest demands.The effective realization of social interest demands is not individual effort but requires the participation and efforts of the government, enterprises, migrant workers, community groups, news media. We also need to improve protection mechanism of migrant workers’social interest demands. We should use collective power to improve the mechanism of migrant workers’interest demands. And we must try our best to meet the reasonable requirements of migrant workers.
